曹家大院的第一代主人叫曹致远。他清末在京城谋生，后来自创商号“公利和鼻烟庄”，在家乡建有票号和商号，生意做得风生水起。曹致远育有三子，1929年开建这座曹家大院。现存大院依稀留有原规模，一排七孔外挂青砖窑洞，三院独分，又有倚门相连，占地上千平方米。
